You guys are missing the point.

The intention of those newly manufactured boards was to be able to 
move parts from the defected board to the new ones, so you take the 
ROM from the bad board and place into the new board ;)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
