Remember that weird Daryl Hall album the Fripp produced? (Sacred Songs). Stranger than Fripp's Exposure album if that's possible. I guess Hall could have cranked out a polished pop / soul album easy enough but he decided to experiment with Fripp instead. Good for him.

ANYWAY... Episode #23 of Live from Daryl's house is very good. Old friends together again...Daryl Hall and Todd Rundgren.

Fripp played on a great tune with Hall & Oats called "Don't Blame it on Love"....the album was called
"Along the Red Ledge" as I recall.....great tune and classic Fripp in the solo....

At 3:47 - Sounds like a Chamberlin pitch bend to me. Looks like it might be under the mini moog.

Thanks Clay for your wonderful post ! I listened and watched it in its entirety; high quality audio and video. Nice seeing such gifted and talented musicians playing and singing together in an intimate and fun setting. Great stuff !!

I used to get high in that very "abandoned" luncheonette back when I was in
college. It was off in the weeds and we would go in there with beer and
weed and spend hours hanging out and playing music.

I agree, great stuff. I was even more surprised to see the drummer, Sean Pelton, and bassist, Zev Katz, playing with them. Both are old friends.

I was surprised to discover that Tom "T-Bone" Wolk died back in Feb. You may remember him from the "Saturday Night Live" house band. Usually a bassist, seen here playing acoustic and singing with Daryl and Todd. Tom was the bassist for Hall and Oates for 30 years.
