Hi all-

Unfortunate, tragic news. "Legend of a Mind", "Dear Diary", "For My Lady" were among the Moodies' best. My sympathy to his family.

Yes, very sad news, indeed. The Moodies were a huge influence in my musical life back in '69, '70 and on. The oft-mentioned flute solo on "Nights In White Satin" is truly an iconic piece within a truly iconic piece. Such pivotal albums, production, and amazing music with real integrity that proved for once and for all, Thinking Is the Best Way to Travel. Godspeed, Ray Thomas.
