Don't remember if they still work, so sold as is. I love it! At that age, they should be ready for re-capping all around.

Suitable for framing? Mount them on the wall of a laboratory set in your next low budget mad scientist film?

Popol Vuh

2011-02-23 by Robert

Although I remember this group, I had very little exposure listening to their music back in the day. Over the last 7 months or so, I have been slowly becoming acquainted with their music and it has been a very pleasant experience thus far.

I hope you enjoy reading the overview and listening to the podcast that is just under 2 hours long.

You know, they did not use a Mellotron. They used an amazing one of kind instrument on the Aguirre soundtrack called a Choir Organ, very powerful choir sounds. An American GI named Jimmie Johnson was the best known player / programmer I have hear tell that you can use sounds other than voices on it

Yes Gino, I was aware that they didn't use Mellotrons, but I really like their music anyway. Thanks for the information on the Choir Organ.

An interesting read, but what does "Aguirre I" and "Aguirre II" mean?
