How do you depress the keys, you ask? Why you threaten to introduce them to Rick. (Bada Bing)

No... You have a distorted understanding of what it should be and how it should work. SMS boards replaced the CMC-10 early on. Today, the SMS-2 (Streetly) and SMS-5 (Markus) are very similar to the original SMS-2 and SMS-3. The CMC was a piece of shit. That's why an improvement was found early on. No more waiting 45 minutes. You turn it on and (assuming everything is properly adjusted) go. Plus, you don't go flat when you play depress a bunch of keys at the same time.
