The Mellotron Group

Listening to AND YOU AND I by Yes and I have to say this
is my one true love song and album and will always be so. 
That first wash of tron is still as fresh as it was back in the
early 70's. Its presence in the track may not be the be all 
to end all but it sure does ring a few bells within... Same with 
The Court of the Crimson King and Moodie Blues, Gypsy 
and Nights In White Satin.


I like each song as a whole but just wondering if it's the sweetening
sounds of the mellotron that hooks you in needing more, much as the
secret herb in KFC or "X" in Coca Cola? Could mellotron be the social
drug we prefer? What part of the brain cries for more from its tones?
Is there a cure?
