The Mellotron Group

I work with Pro Tools, Cubase , Reaper and several others.  The suggestion of Reaper is a very good one.  I find I tend to use it more
then the other programs because of the fluid workflow.  As a bonus it is priced lower than the others but don't let that make
you think it is less capable as a result.  I work with Pro Tools on the Mac in one studio and don't really like it but use all of those
programs (Including Pro Tool on the PC.  Reaper also has a very good support forum and the creators listen to the feedback of
their users.  They issue very frequent updates to correct problems or add features.

I would recommend Reaper. It's less than 12meg, works on practically anything (old, new, OSX, PPC, PC), is stable, well supported, and is incredibly powerful.

MOTU's Digital Performer? I think I could probably figure them out. Pro Tools just scares me for some reason.
