Maybe Markus is getting tired of building MKVI's or is running out of parts & tapes. Face it, it won't go on forever. The M4000D preserves the sound for posterity.
BTW- I love the look & sound of Streetly's unit and have nothing against it at all, but I would never have one and move it around to live gigs.
