I suppose if you are going to tour and you need that "look," and all those
sounds, the Digital machine would make sense. 200 Mellotron and Chamberlin
sounds in one box is attractive. I think that alone is the big attraction.
But once you have all of those sounds, Markus has nothing left to sell you.

Can't we all just get along ? I think a quick look at world history or
even the mellotron lists, would suggest the answer is no.

I can't think that anybody would confuse a mellotron with a rompler that
has a strange keyboard.

Is anybody on the list thinking of buying an M4000D? I would be surprised.

I can understand why somebody would buy an M4000 but not the M4000D why
not just by the mellotron CD? Is Marcus still selling the Mellotron CD? I
wouldn't if it was my business.

Mark

individuals in theory but the Swede unit, despite all the protestations, has held
onto the vaguely missleading M4000D logo. It's laughable really but I cannot
escape being annoyed at the mindless mindset that trys to instigate
consumer confusion by using a similar name yet riles at Memotron infringing
almost everything including the fridge and underpants(leaving a witty
personality unscathed). The truth is that NO ONE ELSE but he should be engaged in
anything mellotronic. But that is never going to be the case because we are
here for duration and no slight of hand or clumsy marketing device is going
to alter our course.

Ran out of money. I wanted the Ph.D but since I had to pay my way I
accidentally got a job that paid a lot of money and ended up married and with a kid.
