The reason they don't sound like BJH, your long term goal Mark, is there is too much top and and too much of the original signal. You need the reverb to cut off around 10/12k max and drastically reduce the dry content. You will then sound like Woolly! That's if you still want to of course.

Thanks Martin, I will probably give it a try but I do really like the current sound, normally Carole leaves the room when I play but when I came up with that sound, she said "that sounds nice, can I have a go?"

Cheers

Mark

Hey Martin:

How does one 'cut off' around 10/12K? I have 2 outs from one tron; the dry signal fed through a volume pedal. All down it is dry and let out, all wet. Or should the pedal be on the other 'out' which goes through a Lexicon(full wet)>mixer>powered mixer>speakers? Seems to sound pleasant the way I have it, although there is a lot of fiddling with the respective volumes. How does one operate the dry/wet volume pedal properly?

Dunno Dan! I have the reverb through one channel of the desk with heavily mitigated eq and the dry signal through another and adjust to the desired effect.

There are better people than me to advise you.

Best,

Martin

Martin:

So you just use the one volume pedal out of the 'tron, instead of 2?

Cheers and Abbott

So you're saying Carole's a go-er? Nod, nod, wink, wink, say no more, say no more...

;)
