The Mellotron Group

Most of the mellotron tracks on this recording were done with the mic / Celestion / Vox amp set-up shown in the video.  The flute track was recorded direct.  I think the recording has more bite than a direct recording would.  Not sure if an amp simulator would give you the same result.

Some of the tracks seem to "beat" against each other at times.  (intermod)  Any ideas on how to avoid that?
