M400 keyboard with broken bottom bracket

M400 keyboard with broken bottom bracket

2010-05-17 by zogher

Hi Group,

I recently acquired an M400. Upon inspection, I noticed that the left-most keys didn't quite key correctly. Took out the keyboard and noticed that a bracket underneath had broken:

Is there a replacement I can get for this whole assembly, either from Streetly or MA (Markus) or a used one in good condition?

I don't even know what the assembly is called...

Help?
Chris

Never seen that before. What's the condition of the opposite bracket?
Perhaps the whole pad frame was bent back severely at one time.

Streetly can fix you up with a new one, I'm sure.

Hi Frank,

The opposite side bracket is fine.

Not sure if the whole pad frame was bent back severely at one time, but if it were, I would think the other side would be broken?

I think it may have broken in transit to me...
