Big Doofus Question

Big Doofus Question

2010-04-30 by gino wong

I must send my heads in and I couldn't seem to admit to Martin that I don't know how to take them out.

Can I get a quick tutorial.

Just ship your mellotron to me. You'll never be bothered with type of time-wasting bother again.

Seriously, you'll see some bent wires coming up on each side of the head block at either end. They're seated in little dimples drilled into the head block. Just lift the tension wires out of the dimples, move them back and you'll be able to lift the head block out. Don't forget to disconnect the head block wires from the control panel first. Obviously, the tapes have to be out of the way when you do this.

So when should I be home to meet the delivery truck? Oh, and since your instrument will be crossing the border, could you put on the customs paperwork that you'll be paying all fees? Don't worry, that the last thing I'll need you to pay for. After that you're home free.

Thanks.

It's rare to see such benevolence these days.
