Anyone have any contact with Markus lately?

Anyone have any contact with Markus lately?

2009-12-18 by DaSwans

I emailed him twice this month for a quote on some parts and haven't gotten a reply.

Since he's in Europe, I'm assuming he's on holiday for a month. Being American, the idea of a holiday lasting more than 3 days is completely foreign to me, seeing as the custom in the States is to fire anyone who actually takes their company up on the offer of vacation time (End of rant).

So anyone know a good way to get ahold of Markus?

I emailed him last summer inquiring about a new capstan for my tron but never received any response. My refurbished capstan is wavy and discolored.

It's not good for mellotrons in general when the mellotron.com website is dormant and unresponsive.

Don't forget about www.mellotronics.com - all your Mellotron needs with a handy drive-thru window. And my, what a pretty Novachord on the group homepage! For anyone who's interested, there is a Novachord group on Yahoo! as well...

I understand that after 16 years of development, Streetly has now offers sets of scientifically designed, human engineered, user friendly, injection molded mud flaps made from a space-age, flexible, rubber-like polymer available as a retrofit to all Mellotrons... True? I think I saw something about this on late night TV.

I hear if you order now they include the Cap Snaffler (snaffles bottles, jars and cans and it really, really works!) at no additional cost.

No no, I believe you're thinking of the Portable Clothes Line ("with these teeny tiny clothes pins"). It dries clothes in a jiffy.

Yes, but does it do it in a jiffy?

I heard from Markus. He's been really busy and lost track of my email. I actually screwed up and think I accidentally emailed David Keane the first time (hence no reply from Markus). So , I thought I'd emailed Markus twice but only did so successfully once on Dec. 8th. My apologies to Markus for coming off on here like a pushy jerk.

Got it straightened out and all is well in Tronland.
