My apologies to all

My apologies to all

2007-12-11 by lsf5275@aol.com

Next time I will do my homework before forwarding nonsense.

"The false suggestion is the action has been taken by the government to avoid offending some Muslim communities.

The source of the rumour may be a report that some history teachers were uncomfortable with sensitive subjects.

In fact the government has reaffirmed that in England, teaching children about the Holocaust is compulsory, and it is not banned elsewhere in the UK.

A number of people have contacted the BBC News website querying e-mails they have been sent.

One example is headed "In Memoriam".

It says: "Recently this week, UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Moslem population which claims it never occurred."

It adds: "This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it."

I am offended with the thought of george bush being president. Should we wipe out all records of his administration from our history books and not teach it in public schools? As tempting as it may be, of course not.

For those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it.

No shit! I already apologized and I wont post shit like this again. My emotions were in the right place but my facts were not verified. The forum was wrong. Sorry.
