Moving Interstate

Moving Interstate

2009-11-02 by Neil

My wife & I (& M400 #1536) are moving 4300kms from Western Australia to
Queensland to retire. I have to transport my spare Tape frame with everything else and would appreciate suggestions on the best way to do this considering it is such a fragile item on such a long road trip.

The one I have that isn't in a proper case was supplied in a sturdy
cardboard case with foam packing at the top holding it in place - something
similar should do the job. I wouldn't say they're *that* fragile! Good luck
with your trip.

A cardboard box with some bubble-wrap should be sufficient.

Make sure that when transporting the Mellotron, you remove the tape frame that's in it.
