speaking of off-topic...

With all the UK residents on the list, I'd like to ask for some linguistic assistance. I am seeking archaic insults and slurs for men and/or women, terms like "churl" or "lout" or "poltroon" or on the ladies' side, words such as "strumpet" or "harridan" or "trollop." You are welcome to send any contributions to me off the list if you want, jonesalley@yahoo.com - thanks in advance for any help!

They are superb live - one of those acts that has you going home at the end of the evening with a big smile on your face.

I also heartily recommend their live DVD, "Anarchy in the Ukulele".

Actually, old American "English" terms are welcome too, it's just that the British have a longer history and more old slang to choose from. Forward the American terms too!

The Big O has an entire collection of live material for free download.
Their live version of "Shaft" on You tube it great, as is "The Good, The Bad
and The Ugly." I think TGTBTU is from the DVD you mentioned.

Great stuff, Martinge! BTW, as far as I know he's no relation of mine - though I'd be glad to claim it.

Oh, and do I hear a very brief snippet of 'tron flute at about 2:50 of this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L1Q6rTfdg0&feature=related ?
