I think you will find it difficult these days to find someone who can fart in tune for 8 seconds over 3 octaves! There was a french chap in the last century that probably could have managed it, but he is dead.

The new String section is just that... new. But it has a very Mellotrony quality. It sound really great and is just part of the ever expanding Mellotron sound palette. You can have all of the great classic sounds, but there are also some really great new sounds that fit right in.

For that authentic tron sound they would have to genuine live farts, otherwise you might as well use a sampler!
