Anyone who fancies a pint at the King's Head, Santa Monica sometime very soon, please mail me at tronbros to sort out a time. It'll probably be next week between Monday and Wednesday.

I was at THE KH in SM last week having dinner with my oldest son
Trevor. A very nice, very English, place. Count me in, Martin.

I think you should each have your own pints. Having gone down t'pub many times with Martinge and John, I know that I wouldn't get very much if we were sharing.

Isn't it an English tradition for two grown men to drink out of the same pint with separate straws? Maybe you but a little black umbrella in there, kinda like sharing a Mai-Tai.

Glad to have you in the extended colonies. Although the west coast is much closer than your Rose Cottages (and no passsport required), I just can't get there right now. Have a good visit. Hope it's not all business, and the earth under your feet remains still for most of the duration. Enjoy the beer!
