Day 44:
Dear Diary:
It seems like the solution is at hand. Finally I will achieve fame for
what this invention will bring to the world. My name will soon be a household
word know by everyone. I have tried small dowels of varying sizes and I know
that soon I will have to make a selection. I have managed to find a supplier of
cotton of the highest quality and now I need only find the proper means of
securing it to the dowel. I am thinking of wrapping cotton around the tips at
each end. I have been trying to think of a name for my creation and since this
is my 17th attempt to make a working prototype, I have decided to call it,
"Preparation Q."
My wife hates the name, but I explained to her that other products that use
the word, "Preparation" have proved successful and that besides being the 17th
letter of the alphabet, the letter, "Q" could stand for Quality. My wife
suggested , "Baby Gays" but that seems too queer to me.
