Very cool, Bernie. You obscure and apparently *ancient* psychedelic-

"Obscure" would have been enough.

Gimme my nickle!!!

Re: "New" CDs

Pete,

Which music are you referring to?

I want to read Roulette Records music dude Tommy James' book "Me, The
Mob and The Music". From PE.com:

"James said the book will recount his memories of his record company
as an alleged mob front as well as his career in the music business.
James said he has been working on the book for years, but didn't feel
comfortable publishing until the final associates died."

I knew that, even back then.

Dave,

There's no Pan Flute on the albums if that's what you're asking.

I don't remember exactly when I got #310 from New Jersey (via eBay), but you can take the date on the headblock and subtract a year or a little less.

Oh, THAT music. A while back I posted a link to sound files from both
albums. They're pretty scratchy vinyl recordings, but you can get an
idea if it's worth it to you.

As for my thoughts about the music, it's also on the link. But
basically, the first album was totally controlled by the producers
and most of the material was written by one of them. The second album
is all original material, but we were given a limited amount of time
in the studio, so a lot of the material isn't completely finished.
Strange thing is, an instrumental called "Bizwambi" from the second
album was released as a single and is still popular with the dance
and jazz crowds in France.
