$500, that's without seeing it. If it were mint, 8-900. Again though, it's hard to tell. Anything of true vintage appeal seems to be shooting upwards price-wise as of late... -Jack --- On Mon, 7/28/08, Jon <jonesalley@cox.net> wrote:

A fair price is $450 -$650 if the insides haven't dried up. The tuning coils under the lid must be turnable and tuneable or it is just a parts machine. Agreed. The tuning pots on a minicompact are actually accessible through the rear of the unit's case. Little holes. A flat head screwdriver, VERY gently turned will tune it up. Each pot is good for that note on all octaves. Do not force the pot if you decide to tune it, they are brittle and will break. They can be fixed , but it's a bit of a process. If you check the tuning and it's close, leave it for the buyer. Better they break it than you, of course. -Jack --- On Wed, 7/30/08, gino wong <wonggster@gmail.com> wrote:

Let me know what's up with it. If you are talking about crumbled tuning screws, it depends on how far gone they are. You can actually carefully turn them all the way out and turn them around. There will be a fresh screw slot on the other end! Getting them out is the trick. You may need to dremmel another slot if it's broken. If you are local to the Boston area, I would be willing to take a look at it for you. -Jack --- On Thu, 7/31/08, gino wong <wonggster@gmail.com> wrote:
