I love the fact that you sometimes appear to have no musical internal monologue.  I can't tell if you've thought ahead about what you write, but it plays as extemporaneous. Nice!  Your piece is pretty knarly, for sure, but in a good way.

cheers!

Thanks Fritz, on this piece I did just make it up as I went along in reaction to the sound, but sometimes it is all planned.

No need Frank. I thought you were joking!  I don't take my stuff seriously.  It's just fun. I have pretty much stopped drinking these days. I really did like the sound of that last piece and I thought some of the group might like it too. It was pretty much played at random as fritz said.  The samples were mapped to the same keys but were three semi  tones apart.

I generally like to hear pieces from other members of the group and  wish people would post more.

I was joking, and I actually am working on something that I will share. The question is only whether or not I can finish it all before I have to pack. We have sold our home of 24 years and we are moving to North Carolina around the end of June. We're even taking Mel with us, although my wife wanted him to convey.

That is indeed a bizarre sound! All the Mellotron in my own recordings is sampled, sadly, and even worse, most of those pieces are also songs, and that gets really subjective! Still, I usually pile Tron sounds (3 Violins usually, and occasionally Chamberlin or M300 alternatives) into them wherever possible, so that's got to count for something, eh? ;)

Let's hear them. I know what you mean about listening to your own work, it is very difficult to judge. I am always a little surprised that my personal favourites are usually the least popular.
