Kid Koala in Calgary, Skellotron?

Kid Koala in Calgary, Skellotron?

2013-03-26 by Dieter

Hello,

Some of you may know Eric San aka Kid Koala. Apart from being an incredibly nice and funny person, he loves vintage gear and of course Mellotrons. Here's a video of him playing some Ondes Martenot, Hammond Novachord and the Skellotron in the National Music Centre. Scroll down for his little Skellotron experience. I hope his new album with all those instruments is released soon!

That's a really cool video, but as far as I know, the Mellotron is one of only two plexiglass Mellotrons in existence, but not the Skellotron. Isn't the Skellotron owned by Streetly and used to create the Streetly library for the M-Tron?

I think that's right, Bernie.  Also, the only other Skellotron I've seen on the web was in the pix at the Tokyo Mellotron site.
The thing that fascinates me about this video is that there is a Mellotron 300 behind the Plexi-tron, and a Chamby Riviera to the right.  Is this David Kean's collection?

Hey Bernie-

Thanks for the link.
Type in "Chamberlin Riviera" for some great views, front and back.
