Shameless plug here.

In the files section you'll find Rust.mp3. It's the first track from my bands upcoming debut album. Has two layers of MkII violins. Thanks to Steven Davies-Morris for the help with quality Mellotron sounds.

We're The Long Black Veils out of Selma, CA. Album is done, last revision of the master is being approved today. I'm putting this track up for a couple of weeks, feel free to download it and enjoy. Album should be out before November is.

Where we are concerned here in Mellotron world, there are two mellotron tracks on the album, 4 Hammond tracks, and one transistor organ track. On the very last track I play mandolin instead. Two tracks have me playing flute as well.

Thanks Mark and Steve. I'm very happy with the way this album came out, and it is high time we get it out there!

I'm actually not playing as much mellotron in this band as I thought I would be when I joined, but second album should see a fair bit more. You'll get to hear the orchestra mix and the vibes tapes on that album.

Also hoping to be able to put some real pump organ on there.
