The Mellotron Group

Hi Clay,

As no one else is going to ask ( on the list anyway), why did you decide to sell your Mark VI? Is it just co-incidence that the the group has gone very quiet since? :) Have you replaced it with anything yet? Did you sample it before it went?

With three tape frames and two flight cases, the whole package suited the backline rental company that I sold it to. They made a good offer and I said yes. I wanted to buy M-Tron Pro and a Nord Electro 4D.

The key motivator? My wife would have had a seizure if I bought more gear without selling something first. She had a cow anyway. )-:

The group isn't very chatty lately, but nothing to do with me I'm sure. Maybe Frank's computer is broken.

Thanks Clay,

So have you bought M-Tron pro and the Nord yet and if so what are your thoughts? I think I will eventually get both myself but for now I am concentrating more on the piano. We had our living room redecorated recently and had to move my upright piano away from the wall, I hadn't realize how much better it would sound. My wife is very understanding and she has agreed that it can stay there.
