Swan Song

This is the last piece of shameless self promotion I will be posting here. It's as near as I have been able to get to the mellotron sound that has been an obsession for over 40 years, since I first heard Woolly play in a small night club in Manchester in 1971. I've used samples of #1565, the overall set was tuned to something nearly in tune but I haven't tuned the individual samples. Alas they are looped as well :).

Thank you and goodnight!

Mark

Hi Mark,

This piece may very well be my favorite amongst those that you have shared with the group thus far. Keep up the good work; it is always nice to hear your music.

Although WW (RIP) is revered by many of the members on this list, surprisingly, I don't have anything by BJH or WW in my collection, and I am largely unfamiliar with "their" music. I will check out BJH live 1974 as you have suggested.

Cheers,

Robert
