Some live mellotron action in a town near you...

Some live mellotron action in a town near you...

well, if you live near Brighton, Sussex, UK that is :)

I'm afraid this post is just a BLATENT SHAMELESS PLUG for a gig I'm doing in 3 days time... a gig at which I'll be playing my MELLOTRON.

But in an act of heinous SACRILAGE, it will be one of Marcus' digital M4000"D" mellotrons.
This will enable me to put it in the boot of my mate's car and carry it into the venue under my arm and still have 100 mellotron tape sets at my fingertips throughout the show. Problem? :)

Anyways if anyone on this list is 'local',
I exhort you to come and see the gig -
it's one of those entirely-improvised affairs, on stage will be:
- DAMO SUZUKI (ex-lead singer of CAN)
- ANN SHENTON (on theremin - ex of Mute Records' ADD N to X)
- FELINE1 (me. On mellotron M4000, Octave Cat monosynth and Roland space echo)
- AK/DK, a Brighton duo who have a drum-kit and a synth rig each.

As you can see, there are no f*king guitars. Which is nice.

It's at the Green Door Store in Brighton (under Brighton train station).
Tues 19th June. Doors open 19:30, £8 in...
