Help dowloading M-tron

Help dowloading M-tron

2012-05-16 by R l

Hi y'all,

I need some help with downloading/installing the M-tron Pro.
I'm neither a skilled musician nor a a computer expert like most of you guys here, but most of all a Tron fanatic, so a step-by-step guide would be greatly appreciated.
From what I understand there's two possibilities to work with it: as a standalone or as a VST, what's the pros and cons of each?

My PC system is a:

HP Pavillion with Vista Premium 64 bit
AMD Athlom Dual Core 64 X2 5050e
2.6 Ghz processor
4 Gb memory
320 Gb HD
MIDI controller from Miditech - Midistudio2

I don't have a pro sound card.
I got a Ableton Live Lite that came in my Fender Mustang III amp. COuld I use it as a host?

Now, I won't use this PC to download the Tron, since it's not connected to the web and I intend to use for music only. Is it ok to download the plug in instrument and the library to a laptop/pendrive and transfer them to the main PC?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

best,

Roberto

Hi Roberto,

Call Chris at Gforce for technical help. You cannot install a program in one pc and then export the installation. You need to get advice from those that designed it.

Best,

Martin
