It's amazing! After all those years, The Americans have hardly aged at all! Jay, on the other hand, is really showing it.
Seriously though, this has been one of my favorite pop songs since I was little.

I love Jay and the Americans. I am amazed that Jay Black's voice is still  
so strong. If anything, he's more powerful now, and his voice is even 
better. I  also liked Jay Traynor, But this guy still amazes. Even now, they get 
regular  rotation in the iPod.
 
I still love Roy Orbison, a lot of who's material was cover by J&TA and  I 
also still listen to Del Shannon. The last song he recorded before  his 
suicide is wonderful and sad.

That's why I posted the comparison. I feel the same way...that his voice has improved with age.
