Frank, just got word that Butler Uniivsity would like to sample #911 for an electronic composotion class. You have to love it when your work is shared with others. I'm betting no one in the class has ever seen a Tron live.

Does that mean I can’t buy one, if I had the money and just wanted to goof around with it?

I have always loved the fact that you so generously share your machine. I have always shield away from selling to people who just want to "own" a Mellotron. That's why I don't like to sell them on eBay. All of the folks I have sold machines to either are musicians or studio owners. I'm so glad that you and Patrick are my friends. I am very proud of him.

Thank goodness I didn't have to try and buy one from you, Frank!!
The guy I bought mine off said he was glad to see it going to someone who really wanted one, and trust me, I really did.I think wanting to own one is a good enough reason to have one, it would be sad if musicians and studio owners were the only people to get their hands on mellotrons.Mark

Thanks Frank,
I will restore it myself when I retire, and after that I'll send it to you to be fixed!

Well, probably, considering it's you. But you might as well just come over and goof around with mine.
