You see, John... if members are not sensitive enough to realize that there are people on these forums who may take exception to certain political and religious opinions, then someone (the Moderator) has to police it.

This is done not to restrict your freedom of speech, but to keep the list focused on its topic. In this case: Mellotrons.

There are many political and religious forums where these discussions are welcomed. Just not a musical instrument forum.

Re: [newmellotrongroup] Re: The Rules

Though I'm technically still married, my wife left me after 21 years of marriage and 23 of "being together". I can guarantee that if my world had not collapsed financially, she'd still be here. It was only after she told me she was leaving (even though she'd told friends, co-workers, and even strangers on facebook, she wasn't going to tell me till almost the last second) that I began to look, and discover evidence of her lying and cheating, including the possibility that my youngest son is not mine.

While hard to deal with (to say the least), what really pisses me off is that she abandoned her sons, the youngest at 15 still very attached and needing her input and guidance, to go to the other side of the country to set up a new life as a painter/hipster with people she'd met on the net. She won't even friend her son on facebook - I think she's afraid he'll find out what she's doing in her "life".
OK, I'll try to make it so that this is the only time that any of you hear the story of the Fucking Whore Cunt (oops, did I say that?) that I'm still married to.

Same here Frank.

Once was enough for me. We're married 30 years although she's been threatening to divorce me for the last 29 of them.

I divorced all 3 of them.
Thought Clay was clear about this?
Now I look bad again.
Forget it, I’m trying to.

My ex wanted me to sell all my stuff too.

Basically either 'that stuff goes or she goes'.

Well 'that stuff' is still here and it's not going anywhere!

John - I went through where you are now. My wife was a colossal idiot too.

The best advice I can give you is do just your own thing and completely forget about her.

Don't talk to her, don't talk about her , don't waste another second thinking even about her.

She's truly not worth it.

Life is too wonderful and too short.

Thanks, Chris. I agree with you and that's the tack I've tried to take in this situation. Unfortunately, she abandoned her sons to the care of their father. I do my best, but she was the better parent, and my youngest still kind of needs her in his life. That's where the serene path breaks down for me. But I try...

John, All you can do is your best for your kids…..I can relate and find it difficult at times but rewarding.

As they get older they will understand more and appreciate your sacrifice….at least we would hope so.

Best,

Gary
