Airline headphones the violin to mellotron converter

I'm at a loose end in Hong Kong on my way back home from the UK, so any body else think that airline headphones turn all string sounds into mellotron strings? I am very tired and jet lagged, that's my excuse anyway.

Mark-
   If you tip the stewardess, they will sound like an ARP Solina!  So, be happy with what you got.

Thanks Bruce, I like the solina but I also want to get home, I don't think the air new zealand stewardess's would be too happy at being inverted. I should be home in another 16.5 hours I think, I've been on the move for 24 hours, why is every meal breakfast? Been without any keyboard except the nanokey and the laptop for 3 weeks, looking foward to getting back to my piano, synths and mellotron, oh and it will be nice to see the wife again as well.
