Hi,

I have met him on several occasions...He is very proud of his Mellotron samples. He dropped by the studio to play a real Mellotron but was constantly talking about his samples.

This guy has gone to what looks like an enormous effort to build the cutest looking (yet slightly shrunken) Mellotron clone I've ever seen:

When you see and hear stuff like this you realise that that sound is simply never going to go away - people just seem to love it way too much.

It is perplexing...he went from being a little apologetic about using samples to being very
proud of them in his mini-magitron.Maybe it's a good thing. I don't really understand why
he just doesn't find an m400 somewhere ...... His music however seems really sincere and
reflects a great love of the sounds he is using! That's what counts right? I like it a lot.
