Date: Thursday, December 30, 2010, 3:14 PMMy daughter and I recorded this on Boxing Day:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NevBM5UQQvY
It isn't too bad until #1565 comes in with distressed 3 violins in the chorus, for the faint hearted this is the tronless version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhaP0xlaoEY
And last of all a song which only has the word mellotron in it:

Wishing everybody on the list a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY MELLOTRON GROUP FRIENDSandy goldstein
2010-12-30 by lsf5275@aol.com
Hi Andy,
I'm from and have lived in Miami-Dade County all my life. Do you live anywhere close by ?
I am not a mellotronist buy I love all mellotron sounds; not just the most popular sounds that are mostly used. I have been a serious music collector for about 40 years and love all styles of music. I joined this forum about a year ago, mainly for the purpose of learning a little about mellotrons from mellotronists. I have learned a lot although some of the technical discussions have been "over my head".
For over 3 years, I have been "searching" for somebody in the area I live who owns a working mellotron and that would be willing to let me see and hear it "in person"; no luck whatsoever. I believe I need to do this in order to determine whether owning a real mellotron is "right" for me.
If your M400 mellotron needs major work, I recommend that you contact "Frank2" in Virginia (he has already corresponded with you through this forum). I am confident that he will do you right, and that your mellotron will function, play, and sound beyond your dreams. Just a thought...
Happy New Year !
Robert
