The Mellotron Group

My Novatron M400 ( # 1784 ) was really stable and solid, and  it sounded and
played great.

Only issue I ever had was a loud repetitive "thumping" noise, which was
solved when the bearings were substituted. 

 

$12k is a lot of money for that machine though , me thinks

Hello

I might place a bid for the Novatron that's currently on ebay.
But before I do that, I've got some questions for somebody who knows the
Novatron a bit better...

What are the advantages / disadvantages of a Novatron over a M400?

Is it more stable? better sounding??
