You are correct; I forgot to mention the festival in WPB... I didn't go to the festival. I was only 13 years old at the time & had not yet gotten into "prog" or some of the other groups who played at this festival. In fact, I had not heard the 1st KC album until about a year later. Just recently, I learned about the Rotary Connection !
That festival had an incredible line up (Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Chambers Brothers, Sly & The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Byrds, Steppenwolf, Spirit, Pacific Gas & Electric, Sweetwater, Country Joe & The Fish, Johnny Winter, Rotary Connection, Grand Funk Railroad, Rugbys (never heard of them ?), King Crimson, Vanilla Fudge, Chicago Transit Authority...
If & when you have the time, please tell us / me about the festival.
Thanks,
Robert

You forgot to mention King Crimson's most notable appearance in South Florida, the 1969 Festival in West Palm beach. They played two nights with the Mark I band. I was so fortunate to have attended that concert.Message
