<<It's actually 1839. The serial number looks like 1837 on the keyboard frame and on the control box. The serial number plate on the back panel set me straight. As for the Novatron label, there's no reason to remove it. It is a Novatron>> and it was built by John Bradley for the South African Broadcasting Company in 1980 as an SFX unit for TV and radio. It was one of 15 they ordered and we managed to buy 10 of them back in 1998. Never going to Jo'burg again. What a dump!
