from my own personal experience, i don't really care
for the "alesis reverb sound". i prefer lexicon, even
the cheap ones [like my lxp-1] have decent reverbs.
heck, i even prefer my cheap digitech's reverbs over
the alesis reverb i have [a quadraverb].

of course, your mileage may vary, and other opinions
are available...
