My 2 pence worth: Putting aside all the theorizing, at NAMM, David and I did direct A-B comparisons between the digitial Mellotron and a MkVI. I would defy anyone to tell the difference in sound (no one could), even in the feel of the keyboard (the difference there is very slight). At $1800. and 41 pounds with 100 sounds and (BTW) parameter control, it's one hell of a machine. Frank1
