I guess what Markus was telling me is that Clavia was getting all the sounds. I never bothered to consider it further. This was many months before it was ever announced publicly. Obviously they would have to be sampled from a real Mellotron. I would think that Mark II sounds sampled from a Mark IV would be somewhat different then if sampled from a Mark II.
