Re: [newmellotrongroup] Mellotronworks Extras

The Handel is absolutely amazing! It sounds wonderful. I had never thought that the mellotron really lent itself to baroque music, the percussive playing really suits the work, this is going onto the ipod!

Thanks

Mark

A brief mention of the mellotronworks extra tracks I uploaded to my site previously.

I've revisited both 'Nimrod' and (in particular) 'Hallelujah' and have brightened them up a bit and added a few overdubs hither and yon. The Handel is now choirs-a-go- go and has been beefed up using a deeply detuned Church Organ as a bass backing that fairly throbs underneath the hullabaloo, and I've edited out a couple of 'Mellotron Artefacts' (ie, tape zips and some earth hum on one string voice) that was bothering me.

Hope you enjoy them!
