I've always found that the best way to get that sound is to take a C3 and a valve Leslie, turn them up full and beat the living shit out of them. Works for me every time.. ;-)

Half way through this video, the guy uses a Motion Sound Pro-3X in an isolation cabinet. I guess he's trying to capture that high volume Jon Lord overdrive sound.
