Subject: [newmellotrongroup] what about top ten favorite keyboards?
All this talk about the worst made me think of my favorites, these
are mine:
not in any order:
korg prophesy: just got one of these and i like it a lot, hard to
blend it with other sounds but i think its great and only cost £160.00
roland jv1080: great expansion, sounding a bit old now but i love it
fm8: don't know if the soft synths count but these are getting
better and better, i like the korg legacy and b4 too
dx100: just got rid of a dx7 cos it was too much hassle with nothing
useable without programing, when i was younger i had more time for
that and got some cool sounds out of its baby brother
alesis fusion 8hd just bought one, it's a bit tempremental but what a
package at £600 new, 80gig hard drive, 88key weighted, sampler three
types of synths, built in 8 track recorder, free sound updates, just
such a bargin all rounder
sy22, only use it for full strings but
they are the best synth
strings i have heard
non synth favs are of course my novatron and hammond x5 with leslie
