They came up on the old list years ago, and if I
recall correctly, Mellotrons have such a hot signal that Streetley offered this
box to reduce the output signal amplitude and make the instruments a little
friendlier to use on stage. Back in those days, keyboard players usually
didn't use mixers and preamps that could tame the signal before sending it
FOH.

Has anyone seen this before? I was hoping to win this auction, but the
seller apparently won't ship to the states. The price seems really low
- so I hope someone gets this just out of curiosity and maybe issues a
report to the list.
