They're the standard string samples from the Triton generation of Korg stuff and they aren't Mellotron samples, they just apply a cheesy crackle and static effect to their own samples to create the "Tape Strings" pad.
The ones on My Pro X don't sound like that. The flutes are OK, the strings
not as much and the choir needs a lot of work, but comes off reasonably
well.
