We buy them new as we know the company that has the original Bulgin
compression moulds. The M4000 has the original pitch knob
and slightly smaller volume and tone knobs. The mould for the
middle sized knob has long since bitten the dust but the smaller version looks
fine and accurate. Pedants? You bet.
