i try to rewrite this topics because the previous was disappeared.
I would ask to you what's the advantage (i suppose in term of noise) to change the wiring of the tape heads as shown in the photo (they are the three headblock of a MKII before and after modification).

I don't remember how M400 or MKV tape head are wired, maybe this modification only concerns MKII.
