There is no keyclick on the M4000. This is because the screw over the pad is further forward which negates the slight displacement caused by the old position which resulted in the click. The pad used to push the tape fractionally caused that annoying noise! It can be reintroduced by returning the pad screw to the old position but this compromises the action and feel. So there.
