I know some old Mellotron parts can be rebuilt. Replcing rubber and glueing m=new pads, even relapping heads. but some other parts vex me, I don't get it.
I am putting new pots on an EMS VCS3 and I am going to toss the old ones out. I have offered money for them but I can't get a why answer that makes any sense.
Given there is money on offer, why I give a shit is a good question.
Anybody ? Fritz ?.....

New pinch rollers make a world of difference and they're easy to replace. I don't envy you changing the felt and resetting the pad arms though. Did you get the felt from Streetly or from a local source?
